Proposal Terms

What it was. The terms of service governing how proposals were made and handled in the TEC — the “fine print” of the DAO’s funding process, setting responsibilities, definitions, and the distinction between funding proposals and signaling proposals.

Who it was for. Anyone submitting a proposal to the TEC, and the community members reviewing and voting on them.

What it looked like. A terms-of-service-style document: a changeable agreement (amendable by the community) describing the TEC as a platform for posting fundraising campaigns, placing responsibility for content and legal compliance on the proposer, and encouraging discussion in Discord/forum before a formal on-chain proposal. It specified that signaling (“suggestion”) proposals belonged in Discord rather than the funding dashboard, while “abstain proposals” remained in use.
