Tech Spec Working Group

Function. The Tech Spec WG owned the technical specification of the Commons — translating the community’s economic and governance intentions into precise, implementable descriptions of the smart-contract system.

What it accomplished. It produced the TEC’s working technical specification and manifesto, and coordinated closely with the builders (the Commons Swarm) on the Hatch, the Augmented Bonding Curve, and the Commons Upgrade. Its documents are the bridge between the design conversations and the deployed contracts described in Code and Technical Artifacts.
