Gravity Working Group
Function. Gravity was the TEC’s conflict-transformation and mediation system — the working group responsible for interpersonal health, dispute resolution, and building the community’s capacity to handle conflict constructively. It treated conflict not as a failure but as a normal, workable part of communal life.
What it accomplished. Gravity built a full practice around mediation: a manifesto, Graviton training programs, mediation and observation forms, self-reflection processes, and an extensive set of call notes. It became influential enough to spin outward as a wider “Gravity DAO” effort serving other communities, and it issued POAPs for its trainings and events. Its tooling is referenced in Code and Technical Artifacts.
Documents & resources. Gravity’s manifesto and training materials are in the data repository under Gravity WG — browse the folder or download the Gravity WG bundle. Note: the most consent-sensitive records (running mediation call notes and case-specific mediation/observation forms) are withheld from the public release per the Archival Policy.
