Communication Guidelines
What it was. The TEC’s internal playbook for how the community communicated and coordinated — meeting cadences, where conversations happened, and how the Advice Process (a decision-making method drawn from self-management practice) was run on proposals.
Who it was for. Active contributors and working-group members — anyone participating in the operational rhythm of the organization.
What it looked like. A practical guide covering the weekly sync cadence (Thursday calls for unblocking async work), the channels used, and how a proposal’s “doc owner” solicited advice from tagged advisors (who could opt out or delegate). It codified the tone and norms that kept a distributed, multi-platform community legible to itself.
